Release Notes 2.2.0

Ahoy everyone!

This is the biggest update to Compass yet!! It features all of the audio work I've done since March, all of the Creator Crew assets, media from multiple sources, lots of new key art, renders, overlays, screenshots, and more! Furthermore, lots of improvements have been made to the Compass Website and backend services.

  • Added the a clip of the Mermaid song (Mermaids folder)
  • Added skeleton trap chest digging-up music (Skeletons folder)
  • Added the Maiden Voyage game into. (Main Menu folder)
  • Added Gold Discovered popup music (UI folder)

  • Removed empty Season 11 folder

• Soundtrack

  • This folder is for extended music, such as the new Burning Blade music. The general Music folder is for different music strings and pieces of music that play throughout the game.
  • The Ambience folder is for longer recordings that contain many sounds that would make up an ambient setting. You can also find those specific sounds in the SFX (Sounds effects) folder.
  • To make this distinction clearer, I have added descriptions to these main folders.

  • Added Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, and The Hunter’s Call company music themes (company respective folders)
  • Added Megalodon music (Megalodon folder)

• This new folder is for general assets that won’t be grouped like the other folders. It’s for any assets used on social channels and in various promotions.

• This folder is ongoing structural improvements given how many assets there are, and I am looking for missing assets, such as renders for each item, to be supplied.

Website Changes

Other Work

Multiple services that allow Compass to run have been rebuilt from the ground-up. I'm not going to go into details here, but if you're interested in how Compass operates, feel free to join the Captain's Quarters.

In general, Compass has been reorganized to allow me to better manage the project, and a lot more of how I collect assets has become automated.
