Compass - January Development Update
I hope everyone had a happy holiday, but now that we're moving into 2024, it's time for some more news!
Over the course of December and January, I have been going through all of how Compass works, is updated, is organized, and is maintained. It was quite the undertaking, and that's why things have been slow since the YouTube releases.
I am most of the way through this process, and it's something that will continue to take up some time over this month and February as well. However, I'm hoping that by the end of January, for Season 11, I will be at a point where I'll be back up to full operation.
What does that mean? Well, expect more weekly releases of SFX and imagery and the continuation of uploading the entire soundtrack to YouTube. New music releases will be sent to the website as well as on YouTube.
There will also be a new website refresh with a redesigned UI, improvements to searching, and a reorganized folder structure. Anyone who is a part of The Captain's Quarters will be able to test the new website and gain access to a few new releases on the site, just like in previous betas in the past. I do ask that you give any feedback you have about how Compass organized so that I'm able to make navigating through Compass as easy as possible.
